I am a junior group leader at the Biozentrum, University of Basel and the Department of Fundamental Microbiology, University of Lausanne. In my group, we use interdisciplinary methods, combining single-cell imaging, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling, to create a quantitative understanding of how the properties of microbial communities emerge from interactions between cells.
