On September 29th, 2023, at the Botanical Garden of the University of Turin a new Zelkova carpinifolia (Caucasian elm) was named after Alma Dal Co. The weTree association, and in particular prof. Maria Lodovica Gullino promoted the initiative to commemorate Alma, who graduated in Physics of Complex Systems from the University of Turin.
